At MV Styles Interior Furniture, customer satisfaction is our top priority. We want you to be completely happy with your purchase. This policy outlines our return and refund procedures.

1. Return Eligibility

You may return products under the following conditions:

  • Items must be returned within 7 days of delivery
  • Products must be in original condition, unused and undamaged
  • All original packaging, tags, and accessories must be included
  • Product must not show signs of assembly or installation
  • Proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation) is required

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Custom-Made Furniture: Items made to your specific measurements or specifications
  • Clearance/Sale Items: Products purchased during promotional sales (unless defective)
  • Assembled Products: Furniture that has been assembled or partially assembled
  • Used Items: Products showing signs of use, wear, or damage
  • Fabric/Upholstery: Cut fabric or custom upholstery materials

3. Defective or Damaged Products

If you receive a defective or damaged product:

  • Inspect items upon delivery and note any damage on the delivery receipt
  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  • Provide photos of the defect or damage
  • We will arrange for inspection and replacement or repair at no cost to you
  • Do not attempt to repair defective items yourself

4. Return Process

To initiate a return:

  1. Contact our customer service team via phone or WhatsApp
  2. Provide your order number and reason for return
  3. Wait for return authorization and instructions
  4. Pack the item securely in original packaging
  5. Arrange return shipping or schedule pickup (fees may apply)
  6. Keep tracking information until refund is processed

5. Refund Options

Once your return is received and inspected, you have the following options:

  • Full Refund: Money refunded to original payment method
  • Store Credit: Credit toward future purchases (includes 10% bonus)
  • Exchange: Swap for different size, color, or model

Refund Timeline: Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item. Bank transfers may take an additional 3-5 business days.

6. Return Shipping Costs

  • Defective/Wrong Item: We cover all return shipping costs
  • Change of Mind: Customer responsible for return shipping (₦5,000 - ₦15,000 depending on location and size)
  • Refused Delivery: Original shipping cost is non-refundable

7. Restocking Fee

A restocking fee of 15% may apply to returns for change of mind. This fee covers inspection, repackaging, and storage costs. No restocking fee applies to defective items or errors on our part.

8. Exchanges

We gladly exchange items for different sizes, colors, or models subject to availability:

  • Must meet return eligibility criteria
  • Price difference may apply for upgraded items
  • Exchanges processed within 3-5 business days
  • Delivery fee applies for exchange delivery

9. Cancellations

Before Production: Full refund available within 24 hours of order placement.

After Production Started: Cancellation fee of 30-50% may apply depending on production stage.

Ready for Delivery: Full order value charged; return policy applies upon delivery.

10. Warranty Coverage

Our products come with manufacturer's warranty:

  • Structural defects: 1-2 years
  • Fabric/upholstery: 6-12 months
  • Hardware/mechanisms: 1 year
  • Does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, or accidental damage
